I was fortunate to have the opportunity to start traveling at a young age with my family. As a student, I studied abroad in Scotland and South Africa, and volunteered on service trips to Greece and Italy where I immersed myself in foreign cultures. I have visited 30 countries and over half of the states in the US. I love to experience the history, culture, and especially the cuisine of the regions I visit. Travel has expanded how I see the world and it is my pleasure to help others broaden their horizons and visit new places.
My interest in tourism sparked after volunteering to host international exchange students in college. Planning cultural trips and activities for others quickly became my passion and meeting people from all over the world served as a launchpoint for me to start traveling. Since then, I have lived in Belgium, Mexico, and Thailand. Living abroad has offered me a unique opportunity to get to know my host country and the surrounding region intimately. I have degrees in both marketing and immigration and speak English, French, Spanish, and basic Mandarin Chinese.
I blame my parents. They got me hooked on travel from a very young age, starting with family trips to the US National Parks. Those trips were followed by forays to Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond. In fact, I have named the company in honor of my globe-trotting parents. Miltonias are their favorite orchid and they’ve been growing them for as long as I remember.
When I travel, I like to focus on the natural beauty of each location as well as the food, people, and culture. I have traveled to 60 countries on 6 continents so far. I love the research and planning almost as much as the trip itself which is why I became a travel agent.
